Apply your welding expertise with Elk Valley Resources as a Red Seal Welder repairing heavy mining equipment in British Columbia. Work a full-time 4x4 schedule of days and nights.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this Welder repairs and maintains site structures and equipment in shop or field environments. The work spans active mining, mine maintenance, and processing areas. You will use FCAW, SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes while supporting inspections, fabrication, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate mining structures and equipment
Grind, gouge, and repair cracks in heavy equipment
Inspect equipment and structures for maintenance needs
Follow health and safety programs and policies
Provide innovative welding solutions and best practices
Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Welder Certification
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Robust interpersonal skills
B Pressure welding ticket or mining experience considered an asset
Bring Red Seal certification, heavy equipment repair experience, and industrial welding skills to EVR’s Elk Valley operations.
