We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates with experience in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction skills will thrive in this position. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high-quality results that meet safety standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare window openings according to project specifications using hand tools and schematics
- Remove old or damaged windows carefully to prevent damage to surrounding structures
- Install new windows securely, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and insulation for energy efficiency
- Use caulking, drywall, and painting techniques to finish installation areas seamlessly
- Change windows up to the level of the Jam
- Assist with related construction tasks such as framing and restoration work.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment and organize tools and materials efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, drills, levels, and saws
- Construction experience with a focus on window installation or related trades IS A MUST
- Knowledge of carpentry, drywall finishing, caulking, and painting techniques
- Experience with plumbing or welding is a plus but not required
