As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work with senior engineers, data scientists, and legal experts. You will transform legal and medical data into production-ready models for personal-injury clients. The work spans machine learning, natural-language processing, and generative AI.
Key Responsibilities: Explore and benchmark ML, NLP, and generative AI methods
Fine-tune LLMs and develop retrieval-augmented generation systems
Build datasets and data loaders from case data
Design experiments, run A/B tests, and analyze results




Integrate models with testing, monitoring, and scaling support
Requirements: Degree in computer science, machine learning, or related field
Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning fundamentals
Hands-on NLP or generative AI experience
Python proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or spaCy
Ability to work hybrid in San Francisco or Toronto
Apply machine learning, NLP, Python, and generative AI skills to production models powering EvenUp’s legal technology.
