Apply aircraft aerodynamics, MATLAB, and simulation expertise in BAN with Bombardier’s Aerospace Canada engineering team. Develop models supporting aircraft programs.
As an Aircraft Aerodynamic Simulation Professional, you will develop and maintain flight dynamics models in MATLAB/Simulink. You will analyze aerodynamic data from CFD, wind tunnel testing, empirical methods, and flight tests. The team supports design, validation, certification, investigations, and engineering or training simulators across Bombardier aircraft platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Develop flight dynamics simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink
Build aerodynamic models from multiple engineering data sources
Analyze and reconcile data for accurate simulation models
Participate in model verification and validation activities
Document methodologies, assumptions, analyses, and results
Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
Understanding of flight mechanics, stability, and control
Experience developing and debugging engineering code
MATLAB experience; Simulink experience is an asset
Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
