**Job Title: Mold Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will perform mold set-up and changeovers in coordination with production planning and molding operations.

You will verify mold configurations, tooling components, and setup readiness prior to the start of production, and execute both preventive and planned maintenance on molds.
**Responsibilities**
Perform mold breakdown and teardown activities following production runs.

Execute preventive and planned maintenance on molds, including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and replacement of wear components.

Inspect molds and components for wear, damage, or performance concerns including bushings, pins, inserts, fasteners, and other critical tooling elements.

Troubleshoot mold-related production issues and assist in identifying root causes of setup, tooling, or maintenance concerns.

Coordinate with Tooling Engineering, Molding personnel, and third-party contractors to resolve tooling issues and support corrective actions.

Maintain mold storage, inventory, tooling records, and traceability of tooling components.

Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and tooling conditions using established systems and forms.

Safely operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment for mold movement, setup, and storage.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on mold reliability, setup efficiency, PM effectiveness, and reduction of downtime.

Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with all company procedures, safety standards, and regulations.

Train and support team members on standardized setup and maintenance procedures as required.

Be available for other maintenance-related activities supporting production needs.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of tooling and molding operations.
**Essential Skills**
Troubleshooting
CNC setup
3+ years in CNC setup and maintenance experience
Experience with tooling, mold changes, and maintenance
Overhead crane experience
3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
3+ years experience installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of manual and automated production machinery

**Work Setting**
This position is within a manufacturing environment requiring stooping, standing, frequent walking, and heavy lifting (frequent 25 lbs + up to 50 lbs).

It involves variable hand/power tool use.

Training will be provided on a straight shift for the first 3 months.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.14 - $31.51/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
