Job Description
Insight Global is in search for a Director, Engineering, Retail Technology for an undergoing significant technology transformation across its store operations ecosystem.

They are seeking a senior technology leader to own the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of retail technology platforms that support frontline users and customer-facing experiences.

This leader will be responsible for modernizing and scaling the technology that powers in-store operations, including point-of-sale, payments, devices, networks, boutique infrastructure, and operational applications.

The role combines engineering leadership, operational excellence, technology strategy, and people leadership.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including leadership of engineering and operations teams.

Experience supporting large-scale retail transformations.

Strong expertise in retail technology ecosystems, including: Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
Payments technology
Store infrastructure and networking
Mobile and endpoint management
Operational business applications
Experience leading technology through design, implementation, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.

Solid understanding of:
ITIL / Service Management




Incident and Problem Management
Release Management
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
Security and Compliance
Observability and Monitoring
Proven success leading large teams, developing leaders, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience driving modernization, automation, and operational transformation initiatives.
