Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and engaging children in daily activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Support children with disabilities by providing appropriate assistance and encouragement
- Foster positive behavioral and social skills through teaching and mentorship
- Collaborate with team members, families, and external professionals to coordinate care efforts
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, incidents, and daily activities
- Encourage participation in educational, recreational,
and therapeutic activities
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or safety concerns, following established protocols
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred
- Background in teaching or educational support is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain patient, flexible, and attentive in dynamic environments
- Prior experience in caregiving or youth services is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build trusting relationships with youth
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to fostering a positive environment for children and young individuals
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
