The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, whether in person or over the phone. They provide a warm welcome, manage reservations, and support the dining room team in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage dining room reservations;
- Ensure menus are maintained in excellent condition;
- Welcome guests upon arrival, assign tables according to the established floor plan, escort guests to their table, and adjust place settings as needed;
- Assist the dining room team whenever necessary during service;
- Thank guests upon departure, inquire about their satisfaction, and invite them to return;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, restrooms, and dining room;
- Answer telephone calls according to established procedures;
- Perform all other related duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of dining room service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the same or a similar position;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills;
- Robust organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, both verbal and written.
