At Courtyard by Marriott Burlington, we believe in creating memorable experiences, one guest at a time. Opened in December 2018, our modern hotel boasts 135 guestrooms, flexible meeting spaces, and excellent amenities like an indoor saltwater pool and on-site Bistro. We are seeking energetic Part-Time Guest Services Associates to be the welcoming face of our establishment, setting the tone for every guest's stay. Your warm personality and dedication will directly shape how our guests perceive their experience with us, making this role pivotal to our success and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactively ensure guest satisfaction by delivering pleasant, courteous, and skilled service, promptly addressing all inquiries and resolving issues.
- Drive hotel revenue by effectively selling, upselling, and cross-selling rooms and services, converting prospective clients into valued guests.
- Expertly manage all front office operations, including reception, guest accounting, reservations, telephone services, and efficient guest check-in/check-out, adhering to hotel policies.
- Accurately register all arriving guests, ensuring compliance with credit and identification policies.
- Operate front office computer systems, accurately posting guest charges and payments,



and balancing shift totals.
- Maintain and reconcile a cashier float, providing currency exchange and preparing cash deposits.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other departments to manage room status changes (early check-ins, late check-outs, etc.) and optimize guest flow.
- Proactively address and resolve guest requests or issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Uphold all Marriott brand standards, as well as Courtyard by Marriott's safety and emergency policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality or a similar service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest needs.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a supportive team environment.
