Design ultra-high-performance datacenter software in person at Broadcom’s Ottawa March Road location, using C++ or C and low-level systems expertise.As a Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver software and firmware for complex multi-processor architectures. You will work in a small team, owning designs across embedded Linux, Yocto, OpenBMC, ZephyrOS, microcode, drivers, and control software. Bachelor’s degree in engineering and twelve-plus years’ related experienceDevelop software in C++ or C for multiprocessor architecturesExperience with Linux, Yocto, OpenBMC, or ZephyrOSExpertise in bring-up, drivers, and low-level silicon debuggingKnowledge of interfaces, Redfish, DMTF standards, and secure bootApply principal-level C++ or C expertise to Broadcom datacenter systems, firmware, validation, and complete product lifecycle ownership.
