Job Summary

Are you someone who enjoys creating visually appealing product displays and making an impact in a retail environment? As a Part-Time Contract Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring products are presented effectively, displayed accurately, and readily available for customers. You'll visit a variety of major retail locations each week, helping create an exceptional in-store experience through strategic merchandising, display execution, and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,



enjoys working independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. You will be responsible for merchandising products on shelves in a timely manner, setting up and dismantling displays, and removing unwanted or outdated products from store shelves.

Essential Responsibilities

- Ensure merchandise is displayed strategically with proper shelf placement and signage.
- Build, maintain, refresh, and dismantle product displays as required.
- Remove unwanted or outdated products from store shelves.
- Maintain high housekeeping and presentation standards throughout assigned retail locations.
- Identify and communicate merchandising issues or discrepancies to the Detailer or Detailer Supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and merchandising standards.
- Follow all store safety guidelines and perform work in a safe and responsible manner.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or a similar role within a big box retail environment preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook.
- Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to achieving results.
- Ability to contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting others.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
