Job Summary

- Prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings to equipment, structures, and other projects through sandblasting and painting.
- Work on residential, commercial, industrial, construction, and restoration projects while following project specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members and customers to complete work accurately and on schedule.

Duties

- Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, and other surface contaminants.
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, masking, sanding, caulking, and completing minor repairs.
- Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and construction painting as project needs require.
- Assist with restoration work, including drywall repairs and basic carpentry.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions to confirm dimensions, materials, and finish requirements.
- Support rigging and safe movement or positioning of materials and equipment when needed.




- Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for tools and equipment.
- Communicate progress, concerns, and schedule updates clearly with coworkers and customers.
- Manage time effectively while balancing quality, safety, and project deadlines.

Qualifications

- Experience in sandblasting, painting, construction, or restoration is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall, carpentry, caulking, and surface preparation is an asset.
- Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial painting is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred.
- Practical experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of rigging practices and safe material handling is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and commitment to secure work practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions and project specifications.

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour
