We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and tech-friendly Building Manager (or couple) to live on-site and help care for our multi-unit residential properties in Bedford.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining a well-run buildings, and treats the properties as if they were their own. We are open to either a full-time individual or a couple seeking a shared responsibility arrangement.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Coordinating general maintenance and small repairs
- Helping schedule and oversee contractors and inspections
- Being the in office contact for tenants and responding to requests
- Supporting move-ins, move-outs, and basic unit inspections
- Keeping common areas clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Assisting with rent-related admin and maintaining building records and tenant information
- Listing and showing available units
- Using basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, property systems such as Yardi)





What We’re Looking For

- Reliable, trustworthy, and takes ownership of their work
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Practical, hands-on mindset (basic maintenance/repair knowledge is an asset)
- Strong communication skills and a respectful, calm approach with tenants
- Valuable problem-solving skills and common sense
- Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
- Willingness to learn about building systems and property operations

Nice to Have (but not required)

- Experience in property management, maintenance, or trades
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general repairs
- Previous experience working with tenants or customer service roles
