About the Role
As a Ski Shop Technician, you’ll help keep our customers ready for the slopes by preparing, tuning, and maintaining ski and snowboard equipment. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys helping fellow winter sports enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
- Tune, wax, sharpen, and maintain skis and snowboards.
- Assist with ski and snowboard binding installations and adjustments, following manufacturer specifications and applicable safety procedures.
- Inspect equipment and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Help customers with equipment questions and service recommendations.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively with the retail team to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Interest in skiing, snowboarding, and winter sports.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous ski or snowboard technician experience is an asset, but training may be available for the right candidate.
