Construction Site Supervisor – Commercial Development
Calmar, Alberta.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor for our commercial plaza development in Calmar. The ideal candidate has proven experience delivering 2–7-acre commercial developments from raw land through construction and final completion, with strong knowledge of Alberta’s ground conditions, weather challenges, and construction practices.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily site operations, crews, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Coordinate earthworks, grading, underground utilities, foundations, building construction, paving, and landscaping.
- Read drawings, plan work, and coordinate deliveries and inspections.
- Maintain schedules, workmanship, site safety, and daily progress records.
- Resolve site issues and communicate effectively with management, consultants, and trades.

Requirements:





- Extensive construction supervision experience in Alberta.
- Demonstrated completion of comparable commercial land development projects.
- Robust understanding of drainage, soil conditions, compaction, frost protection, and winter construction.
- Knowledge of applicable Alberta building requirements and occupational health and safety practices.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills..
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to work on site in Calmar.
