Job Position: Architectural Drafter & Designer

Mission: Company’s mission statement is to provide residential & commercial construction clients with a superior level of customer service, along with a quality set of building/renovating plans.

Office Use:

· The position is 8:00-4:00pm Monday- Friday - Full Time.

Role in Summary:

The Architectural Designer will work in consultation with our existing design staff, clients, engineers and contractors. Projects may include new residential construction, renovations and commercial projects. The designer will have an active role in drafting accurate existing building plans, proposed construction plans, visual 3D renders and schematic designs for the company’s clients. The designer is responsible for creating timely drawings, to be reviewed, and approved by the lead designer.

Work Setting: This position is a full-time position, primarily based in the New Glasgow office, with some flexibility to work outside the office.

· Strong verbal & written communication skills

Duties included, but not limited to,

· Use Softplan design software to create detailed construction drawings, schematic designs, 3D renders and details.





· Work with client timelines and constraining factors such as building codes and regulations, budget, environment, and structural requirements.

· Communicate efficiently with other professionals and coworkers to produce accurate construction documents.

· Use creative skills, technical knowledge & creativity to design residential spaces.

· Use drafting and design software to create detailed construction drawings for building permits, schematic designs, 3D renders and details.
