We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Hand to support large-scale construction projects, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in data centers.

About the Role:

The Electrical Lead Hand supports the Foreman in coordinating day-to-day field operations and provides hands-on leadership to the crew. This role assists with organizing work, maintaining productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and upholding quality standards on site, while also serving as a key point of communication between the field team and site leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support daily field execution planning for assigned crews, areas, or active work fronts.
- Identify immediate field constraints and installation issues affecting crew productivity or work readiness.
- Coordinate directly with site superintendents and contractors on short-term work priorities and field conditions.
- Assist in monitoring manpower deployment, workface readiness, and day-to-day task sequencing.
- Help maintain quality, housekeeping, and safe execution standards in active work areas.
- Communicate field progress, incomplete work,



and emerging issues upward to site leadership.
- Provide practical install-level support to keep electrical work moving efficiently each day.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 2 years in a lead hand role.
- Experience with cloud-based construction software and various office software programs is an asset
- Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate trades, maintain site productivity among select work crews
- Journeyperson Electrician certification (or equivalent) required.
- Experience with large commercial or industrial projects; data center experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution, grounding, equipment installation, and commissioning workflows.
- Solid understanding of CEC and relevant electrical standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills and
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
