The Mutual fund Investment Specialist plays a key role in supporting and developing agency operations through outbound prospecting, client contact and sales activities. This role may have an opportunity to build your own book (AUM) with competitive trailing fees. The Mutual fund Investment Specialist will identify prospects in both personal and business markets, determine needs and as a trusted advisor, make informed product recommendations. You may also be involved in the development and growth of other insurance products (home/auto/commercial), by referring the x-sell leads to agency team members.

What you are responsible for:

- Client review with agency existing insurance clients to identify their mutual fund investment needs;
- Offer comprehensive financial planning including saving, retirement, education and estate.
- Prospecting new clients from your local groups, develop your Centre of Influence. Develop a market of leads and prospects that need your financial support. Developing self-promotion strategies to grow your network and business opportunities.




- Calling clients and prospects to book appointments, preparing the files, reviewing existing business, identifying recent opportunities, selling investments and insurance as appropriate.
- Meeting with clients in office or off-site at flexible schedule.
- According to client's risk profile to recommend the mutual funds from our partner fund companies ( Fidelity, Dynamic, Mackenzie, CI, etc.)

Requirements:

- Mutual Fund license is required
- CFP is an asset
- A minimum of two (2) years mutual fund sales
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.
- Valid driver license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
