Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary: We are hiring a Production Manager for one of our food manufacturing clients in London! The successful candidates will oversee and coordinate daily production operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years of experience in a comparable role within food manufacturing, with strong experience in production planning, scheduling, team leadership, and problem-solving.

Job Location: London, ON

Job Type: Full-time, permanent. 100% on site.

Shift Structure: Day Shift (but will need to monitor all 3 shifts so flexibility in the work schedule is a must)

Compensation Structure: $90,000-$115,000/annum (depending on experience) + benefits + RRSP/DPSP contribution

Responsibilities:

· Supervise, coordinate, and schedule production staff to support daily operational requirements.

· Plan and organize workflow to ensure production schedules and targets are achieved.

· Review production schedules, reports, and performance data to monitor output and identify areas for improvement.

· Maintain product quality by ensuring production processes follow established quality standards and procedures.

· Monitor daily production activities and provide accurate reporting to management.

· Identify and resolve production, workflow, safety, and environmental issues in a timely manner.

· Ensure all production activities and required documentation are completed accurately and consistently.

· Support production planning by providing information on staffing, materials, equipment, and operational requirements.

· Coordinate the ordering and availability of materials and supplies needed for production.

· Train and coach employees on job responsibilities, safety practices, company policies, and production procedures.

· Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback, guidance, and support.

· Work with management on staffing needs,



including hiring, promotions, and other personnel decisions.

· Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues in a professional and timely manner.

· Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.

· Conduct regular workplace inspections and follow up on identified safety concerns.

· Ensure employees follow all applicable health and safety, food safety, sanitation, HACCP, GMP, environmental, and quality requirements.

· Work closely with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth production handovers and effective communication.

· Prepare production reports and assist with budgeting and resource planning for the department.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

· 2–3+ years of experience in a comparable production supervisory role

· Previous experience in food manufacturing/production

· Robust background in production planning and scheduling

· Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent industry experience

· Proven leadership experience, including coaching, training, and performance management

· Strong knowledge of production, warehouse, and transportation operations

· Excellent team-building and employee engagement skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to analyze production data, reports, and operational requirements

· Strong attention to quality and compliance

· Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems

· Resourceful, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning skills

· Ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with business partners

· Strong coaching and mentoring abilities

· English proficiency required; Spanish considered an asset
