We are seeking a CNC operator to work with our client in the south end of Ottawa. Any candidate interested in the afternoon shift must have their own car.

Schedule:

- Full-time days and afternoons 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM & 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
- Monday - Friday

What the job involves:

- Prepare, set up, program, and adjust turret press as required by product plans and production schedules
- Identify and retrieve raw materials for daily production, perform metal prep operations
- Inspect parts according to print and product plan, monitor for quality and adherence to specifications
- Identify, document and resolve defects
- Comply with brake press process standard operating procedure
- Work collaboratively in a team environment

What the job requires of you:

- Ability to work with excellent concentration and precision
- Ability to read technical drawings, inspection devices, and a variety of measuring tools
- An understanding of geometry concepts and the mathematical aptitude to calculate adjustments




- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- CSA-approved steel toe boots
- Unwavering commitment to compliance with all workplace safety guidelines
