Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Epic and Dentrix software systems
- Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and greeting patients as a dental receptionist




- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and medical history using appropriate medical terminology
- Support the team by managing supplies, ordering materials, and ensuring the clinic remains organized and hygienic

Experience

- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry is advantageous
- Familiarity with dental CAD systems for imaging and diagnostics is a plus
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
