Ontario Diagnostic Centres (ODC) is looking for an experienced and motivated Pulmonary Function Technologist to join our growing healthcare team in Etobicoke.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PFT professional who enjoys hands-on patient care and is ready to take a leadership role in managing the daily operations of a Pulmonary Function Testing laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion capacity (DLCO).
- Oversee daily PFT laboratory operations, scheduling coordination, and patient workflow.
- Perform equipment calibration, quality control, and routine troubleshooting.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate testing records, quality-control logs, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with testing protocols,
safety standards, and infection prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
- Support continuous improvement in testing quality and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Previous hands-on PFT experience is required.
- Robust experience with spirometry, lung volumes, and DLCO testing.
- Knowledge of PFT equipment calibration and quality-control procedures.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily laboratory responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous lead technologist or laboratory coordination experience is an asset.
