Position Summary

Fil-Trek Corporation is a successful and well-established industrial manufacturing company with over 30 years of experience, located in Cambridge, Ontario. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of industrial filtration equipment, proudly serving customers across Canada and international markets.

We are currently recruiting experienced Welders and Welder/Fitters to join our team.

The successful candidate will:

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, and workmanship.
- Consistently produce high-quality welds that meet specifications.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines.

What You Will Do

- Perform GMAW (MIG) welding on industrial filtration equipment and related components.
- Weld stainless steel and alloy steel components.
- Interpret blueprints and follow established welding procedures.
- Work with driver rollers and positioners to weld pressure components.
- Use pneumatic tools, grinders, oxy-acetylene torches, and plasma cutters as required.
- Interpret weld symbols and ensure welding work meets applicable quality standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with team members to support production requirements.
- Safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

What We Are Looking For

- Minimum of five (5) years of welding experience.
- Demonstrated experience in GMAW (MIG) welding.
- Experience welding stainless steel and alloy steels.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and follow welding procedures.




- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- TSSA welding certifications from 1G to 6G are considered an asset.
- GTAW (TIG) welding experience is considered an asset.
- Experience welding pipe and/or pressure vessels is considered an asset.
- Ability to interpret weld symbols is considered an asset.
- Experience using welding positioners, driver rollers, and related equipment is an asset.

Pay: $27.00-$36.00 per hour
