Senior CAD Designer – Architectural Millwork

Job Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewMillworx is seeking an experienced Senior CAD Designer with a strong background in custom architectural millwork and cabinetry. The successful candidate will prepare accurate, detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for commercial and custom millwork projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings, elevations, sections, and fabrication drawings.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
- Develop drawings for custom cabinetry, reception desks, wall panels, feature walls, and other millwork components.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, designers, and production teams.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and installation requirements.
- Manage revisions, drawing packages,



and project deadlines.
- Provide technical support to production and installation teams.
- 5+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in architectural millwork or cabinetry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D design or CNC software is an asset.
- Excellent understanding of millwork materials, hardware, joinery, and fabrication methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Pay: $60,900.00-$100,000.00 per year
