Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Barista/Customer Service team member to create a welcoming experience for guests while preparing and serving quality beverages and food. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays organized in a rapid-paced environment, and takes care to follow food safety practices.

Duties

- Greet guests, answer questions, take orders, and provide attentive customer service.
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Assist with food preparation and service while following food handling and food safety procedures.
- Operate the POS system to enter orders and process transactions accurately; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Handle cash and complete cashiering tasks carefully, including making change.
- Keep the service area, equipment, and dining spaces clean, stocked, and organized.
- Coordinate with coworkers to fulfill orders promptly and maintain smooth service.
- Use basic math to verify orders, process payments, and support daily tasks.




- Manage time effectively while balancing guest needs, beverage preparation, and cleaning duties.

Requirements

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.
- Comfort learning and using a POS system; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Food industry, food service, serving, cashiering, or food preparation experience is helpful.
- Barista experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn beverage preparation is welcome.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
