We currently have an opening for a Civil Coordinator on our expanding civil division. This position will be full time out of our office in Courtenay. As a coordinator, you will work directly with a Civil Construction Manager along with our project management team. You will also have a direct contact with field supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Pump Stations
- PRV Stations and Kiosks
- Civil Construction
- Institutional and Industrial Projects
- Municipal Work

This Role Includes:

- Be the point of contact between the field staff, truck drivers, operators, and working directly with the Civil Construction Manager
- Helping create, track and maintain schedules
- Scheduling employees and tracking timesheets
- Managing and tracking shop drawings, materials and project submittals as needed




- Placing material orders and ensuring Foremen have the correct materials once onsite
- Coordinating Sub-contractors, TCPs and trucks

Skills:

- Experience or understanding with the install and repairs of underground water, sewer, storm and electrical
- Experience or understanding with excavating and backfilling
- Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Bluebeam
- Work well in a team environment
- Time management skills
- Organized
- Problem solver

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Direct work experience with the construction industry
