WHO ARE WE?

Fluency Corp is a privately-owned group of talented instructors that want to take language teaching/executive language coaching/working with expat families (building fluency, polishing, improving communication) to a new level for the executives and families that we work with.

PLEASE READ TIL END TO BE CONSIDERED.

We not only teach our students through relevant, interesting conversation (as we all learned our first language!), but we motivate them to keep learning by communicating with others in the community, and trying new ways to learn that truly boost fluency like TV and making friends. We also give highly customized lessons based on the client's job and interests.

For this client Fluency Corp (the management teach, not you) will

- meet with the client to do a short intake and send that to you
- support you, the teacher, throughout the process
- give you a progress report template for each student

You (the coach) will

- Create a curriculum based on what they want to learn,
- propose a plan for the first class, do a lesson the first class,

and then get their feedback at the end of class of what they liked and did not like to ensure it is satisfactory. Then decide on next week's lesson, continuing to ask them what lessons are most important.
- bring a lot of energy and fun to classes

We are responsible about our jobs and care deeply about our students.

You must :

- have 5+ years teaching French to youth
- have experience keeping the class lively
- be able to fill out a goals form and quarterly progress reports
- be always on time (preferably early)

Please answer the application questions. If they are not answered, we will not be able to set up an interview with you, as these are essential questions we need answered.

We look forward to speaking!

Application question(s):

- Why a contractor position works well for you (aka you are not looking for a full time position that would cause you to NOT be able to give at least 6 months)?
- Please describe in detail a similar job to the one described in this job ad. Who did you teach? Group or one on one? How many total hours did you work with this person? What was the content of the course? How did you create the content? Was it given to you or did you make it based on the needs of the group? What was their end goal? How did they do by the end and what score did that company give you for the job you did?
- Please send us a lesson plan of what you would do the first 2 classes so we can understand your style when working with children.
- Why do you enjoy working with this age? What age are these children?
- What schedule would you choose based on the description of their availability in the job ad?
