We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our growing Service Department.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive concerns
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
- Perform electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs and maintenance
- Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs and vehicle condition
- Complete work according to manufacturer procedures and dealership standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other team members regarding vehicle concerns and repair recommendations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology, diagnostic procedures and repair techniques
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- Previous dealership experience is an asset
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to use scan tools, diagnostic equipment and shop equipment effectively
- Solid attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's licence
- A commitment to safety and maintaining a professional work environment
