Nexa Electric Ltd. is hiring journeyman electricians and electrical apprentices for residential, multifamily and commercial projects in Calgary.

We’re looking for dependable people who take pride in quality workmanship, communicate well and work safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Complete electrical rough-in and finishing, including wiring, boxes, devices, lighting, panels and feeders.
- Install conduit, cables and related electrical equipment.
- Read and follow electrical drawings and project specifications appropriate to your experience.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, site requirements and safe work practices.
- Keep work areas organized and communicate progress or concerns to the site lead.
- Journeymen: work independently on assigned tasks and guide apprentices.




- Apprentices: assist with installations and develop your skills under qualified supervision.

Qualifications

- Journeymen: recognized journeyman electrician certification.
- Apprentices: identify your apprenticeship year and relevant experience.
- Residential, multifamily or commercial electrical experience is an asset.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to use electrical hand and power tools safely.

Pay
Journeyman electricians: $42 per hour.
