Specializing in Mechanical Design Systems for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression, we have completed thousands of projects in a range of industries. The Position

Avalon Mechanical is currently looking for a Mechanical E.I.T. to join our team in our Victoria office. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, have experience working with AutoCAD and Revit, and be available to start work immediately. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and experience producing construction documents, plans, and calculations for mechanical building systems (fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC) are desired, however all skill levels and experience will be considered. Compensation and benefits for this position are to be discussed with applicants on an individual basis. The salary range is between $30-32/hour depending on experience.

Candidate Requirements:

- Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registration, or eligibility to register, as a engineer-in-training (EIT) with EGBC.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and an ambition to learn

Ideal Candidates will possess the following:





- Experience with MS Office - specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Experience designing mechanical systems
- Knowledge of local codes, including the BC Building Code

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for renovations and recent constructions
- Prepare reports by compiling, interpreting, and summarizing engineering data
- Learn and adapt to various engineering tasks as required to meet changing market demands
