Business Development Manager – Pipeline Services

EnReach Hot Tap Services Inc. provides hot tapping, line stopping, pipeline isolation, engineering, and related services. We have an established customer base supporting operating plants and facilities. We are now looking for an experienced sales professional to lead our expansion into Western Canada’s pipeline market with our proprietary AEGIS Guard™ double isolation and bleed line stopping technology.

This is a hands-on business development role for someone who knows pipeline companies, understands how they purchase technical services, and can turn relationships into qualified opportunities and awarded work.

What you’ll do

- Develop and execute a sales plan to introduce AEGIS to pipeline owners and operators across Western Canada.
- Proactively pursue line stopping and isolation opportunities on pipelines operating under CSA Z662.
- Build relationships with decision-makers in pipeline integrity, engineering, operations, maintenance, projects, and procurement.
- Identify upcoming maintenance, repair, replacement, and integrity projects where AEGIS could provide value.
- Secure technical meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and opportunities for customer qualification.
- Work with EnReach’s engineering and operations teams to assess applications, prepare proposals, and address customer requirements.
- Support vendor registration, prequalification, and approval processes.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through quotation, follow-up, negotiation, and award.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline with clear next steps, expected timing, and revenue forecasts.
- Travel throughout Western Canada to meet customers and visit project sites.

Required experience





You must have direct experience working for or selling technical products or services to pipeline owners and operators. Candidates whose experience is limited to plants and facilities will not meet this requirement.

You will also bring:

- An established network of contacts within Western Canada’s pipeline industry.
- A proven record of generating new business and winning work.
- Experience selling technical services or equipment related to pipeline maintenance, integrity, construction, isolation, or repair.
- A practical understanding of the CSA Z662 pipeline environment and customer expectations for safety, engineering, quality, and execution.
- The ability to navigate technical reviews, procurement processes, and multiple customer stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- The initiative and organization to build a recent market with support from our technical team.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Experience with hot tapping, line stopping, pipeline isolation, or introducing new technology to pipeline operators would be a strong asset.
