Technical Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have professional training,



relevant experience, and confidence in the following services:

Threading & Hair Removal

- Eyebrow threading, shaping, and definition.
- Facial threading, including upper lip, chin, cheeks, and other requested areas within their training and scope of practice.
- Waxing services for ALL facial and body areas.
- Accurate hair removal techniques that prioritise skin comfort, cleanliness, and the client's desired result.
- Knowledge of different skin types, hair growth patterns, and appropriate aftercare.

Facials & Skincare

- Performing skilled facials suited to individual client needs and skin concerns.
- Conducting consultations and identifying when a treatment may be unsuitable.
- Understanding all skin types, common skin concerns, product selection, and appropriate treatment methods.
- Proper cleansing, exfoliation, mask application, moisturising, and other treatments within their training and qualifications.
- Providing clear aftercare advice and realistic recommendations for maintaining skin health.
- Recognising potential contraindications and referring clients to an appropriate healthcare professional when a concern falls outside their scope of practice.

Professional Hygiene & Safety

- Following proper hand hygiene and cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation procedures.
- Using clean equipment and appropriate single-use supplies where required.
- Preventing cross-contamination between clients and treatments.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional treatment area.
- Following applicable workplace safety requirements, product instructions, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

- Deliver threading, waxing, and facial services with care, precision, and professionalism.
- Consult with clients before treatments to understand their preferences, relevant skin sensitivities, and desired outcomes.
- Explain procedures, expected sensations, potential reactions, and aftercare clearly.
- Obtain informed consent and respect a client's right to pause or decline any part of a treatment.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards before, during, and after every appointment.




- Keep treatment rooms, tools, equipment, and products clean, organised, and ready for the next client.
- Manage appointments professionally while allowing sufficient time to maintain quality and client comfort.
- Recommend appropriate treatments and products honestly, without pressuring clients into purchases.
- Communicate respectfully with colleagues and help maintain a positive, welcoming salon environment.
- Take responsibility for ongoing learning, professional development, and consistent service standards.

Work Schedule & Availability

This is a full time position requiring availability on weekends.

Weekends are among our busiest business periods, so reliable Saturday and Sunday availability is essential. Specific shifts and days off will be arranged according to the salon's operating hours and business needs.

Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work professionally during busy periods are important requirements.
