We’re looking for an experienced freelance Interior Design / Architectural Consultant to support our team on an as-needed basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone who works independently, has strong technical drafting skills, and is available for site visits and measurements.

The Role

- Prepare and revise architectural permit drawings.
- Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details in Revit.
- Incorporate structural information and coordinate drawing revisions with engineers.
- Conduct site visits, take measurements, and document existing conditions.
- Support interior layouts, space planning, and design development.
- Coordinate with our team to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

- Must already have your own access to Revit 2026.
- Proficiency in Revit and experience preparing permit drawing packages.
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and residential construction.




- Ability to take accurate site measurements and translate them into drawings.
- Solid attention to detail, communication, and time management.
- Ability to travel to project sites in Hamilton and surrounding areas.
- Education or relevant experience in interior design, architectural technology, or a related field.

Freelance Arrangement

Work will be offered as needed, based on project workload and availability, with no fixed-term commitment or guaranteed hours. You will use your own equipment and software and invoice for services provided at an agreed-upon rate.
