Nova Staffing is currently recruiting Food Production Workers for a busy food manufacturing facility in Dartmouth, NS. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced production environment. Employees will work on either the cracker and cheese production lines or the baking line and will be involved in producing, packaging, and preparing food products for distribution.

Successful candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for the duration of the shift, following food safety procedures, and working efficiently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor food production equipment
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with food production and assembly processes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work setting
- Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Support multiple production areas through cross-training
- Perform general production and packaging duties as required

Requirements





- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food industry experience is an asset

PPE Required

- Steel-toe boots
- Rubber boots provided
- All other required PPE provided on-site

Payrate & Work Schedule:

Day Shift: $18.72/hour (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Evening Shift: $19.52/hour (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
Night Shift: $20.12/hour (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Pay: $18.72-$20.12 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dartmouth, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
