Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of Italian restaurant experience and thrives in a quick-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be friendly, professional, and highly organized, with the ability to multitask efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. As a Server you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, prepare and serve beverages, take food orders, and ensure smooth service while maintaining food safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent, friendly customer service while taking food and beverage orders and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work alone and with a team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
- Operate POS systems efficiently (currently using Mealsy) to process orders and payments.
- Work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and ordering supplies when needed.




- Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and follow proper cash handling procedures.
- OPEN/CLOSE restaurant

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Server preferably in an Italian restaurant setting.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Experience using POS systems (Mealsy preferred).
- Basic math skills for handling payments and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety and food handling practices.
- Ability to work well in a team while also being self-motivated.
- Fluent in English.
- Italian speaking is an asset.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations with SMART SERVE certificate
