Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Construction Labourer to support construction, renovation, and restoration projects. The successful candidate will assist skilled tradespeople, prepare work areas, handle materials, and help complete work safely and to a high standard. Construction experience is an asset; training and direction will be provided for assigned tasks.

Duties

- Prepare and clean job sites, protect surrounding areas, and organize materials and tools.
- Use and care for common hand tools and assist with construction equipment as directed.
- Support carpentry and general construction tasks, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials.
- Assist with drywall installation and repairs, caulking, and construction painting.
- Support restoration work by removing damaged materials, preparing surfaces, and helping return spaces to service.
- Move and stage materials, maintain a tidy work area, and follow site safety procedures.
- Report hazards, damaged tools,



and project concerns to the supervisors

Requirements

- Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and communicate clearly with the crew.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to secure work practices.
- Physical ability to perform active work, including standing, bending, carrying materials, and working outdoors or in changing site conditions.
- Willingness to learn and use hand tools safely.
- Construction experience is preferred
- Familiarity with carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, drywall, caulking, restoration, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is an asset.
- Relevant trade training or certifications are an advantage.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
