About the role:
We are looking for an ambitious Office Manager to lead our team and help grow the practice. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who sets goals, builds strong teams and takes pride in hitting targets.
You will own the day-to-day running of the clinic and partner directly with our dentists on growth: more recent patients, fuller schedules and an exceptional patient experience. If you are an emerging leader ready to take the next step, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do:
Drive clinic growth
- Set monthly and quarterly goals with the leadership for production, new patients, recall and case acceptance
- Track results against targets and report progress clearly each month
- Lead patient-acquisition efforts with the team: referrals, reviews, community outreach and local marketing
- Spot gaps in the schedule and fill them through recall, re-care and treatment follow-up
Lead and develop the team
- Manage, coach and motivate front desk, assistants and hygiene coordinators
- Hire, onboard and train new team members
- Run regular team huddles and one-on-ones; set clear expectations and hold people accountable
- Build a positive, patient-first culture where people want to stay
Run smooth operations
- Oversee scheduling to provide best patient care, maximize productivity and minimize no-shows
- Manage billing, insurance claims, collections and accounts receivable
- Monitor budgets, supply ordering and vendor relationships
- Keep the clinic compliant with privacy, infection-control and regulatory requirements
- Resolve patient concerns quickly and professionally
What you bring
Must have
- 2+ years managing or supervising people, with a track record of building and leading a team
- Proven results delivering on goals: you can point to targets you set, tracked and hit
- A goal-oriented, growth mindset and the drive to take ownership
- Strong communication skills with patients, staff and clinicians
- Comfort with numbers: reading reports, tracking KPIs and managing to a budget
- Experience in a dental, medical or other healthcare office
Nice to have
- Familiarity with dental practice software (ABELDent, Akitu One)
- Knowledge of dental insurance billing and claims
- Post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration or a related field
New to dental but a proven people leader? Apply anyway — we can teach the dental side.
What we offer
- Competitive salary + a performance bonus tied to clinic goals
- Dental benefits
- Paid time off and statutory holidays
- Room to grow as the practice-network grows, with real input into how the clinic/operations is run
- A supportive team and dentists who value leadership
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
Benefits:
- Dental care
- Flexible schedule
- On-site parking
- Paid time off
- Profit sharing
Work Location: In person
