We are currently accepting applicants for a mechanically inclined individual to apprentice to diagnose and repair Hot Tubs and swim spas. Only candidates with a strong work ethic as well as basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills will be considered.

Job Overview

- The service technician apprentice will perform maintenance and repairs of hot tubs on location. He or she will learn how to diagnose, test and repair hot tubs and may work in a variety of outdoor environments, including inclement weather.
- The service technician provides timely, reliable, professional and courteous repair service to customers.
- The service technician is a core representative of The Spa Spot Inc. It is the Service Technician's mission to provide a superior level of customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintains a safe environment by adhering to all safety standard protocols as outlined in the
- Maintains a professional appearance, attitude and demeanor. Committed to providing a superior level of customer service.
- Understands the Company is a service provider. At times, after hours and weekend commitments may be required in response to customer requests.
- Demonstrates the ability to inspect and repair mechanical, plumbing, and electronic control systems.
- Organizes work by reviewing requirements and checking and gathering tools, supplies, and parts required to complete service repairs and or inspections.
- Communicates and documents details of repair requirements and repair resolution details.




- Works to minimize and mitigate oversights and “go-back" repairs.
- Completes all required paperwork and data entries as required by repair.
- Performs vehicle maintenance checks according to the Company’s maintenance checklist.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of maintenance vehicle.

Qualifications

- Experience with various mechanical tools, instruments and or appliances.
- Experience with plumbing, specifically PVC piping and connections.
- Electrical experience, basic wiring and diagnostics
- Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and product maintenance and troubleshooting manuals
- Ability to effectively document and communicate technical repair related details.
- Additional qualifications include being: Self-Motivating, Results-Driven, Quality-Focused, Productive, Physically Fit, and of Positive Judgment.
- Driver’s license with a clean record as you may be driving a company vehicle.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Hourly Rate of $20-$25 to start – if requirements are met.
