We’re Hiring: Experienced Barista
Valuable Earth Coffeehouse – Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga
Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
Join our team! We’re looking for a dependable, friendly barista who enjoys making great coffee and providing welcoming service in a busy hospital café.
Who we’re looking for
You take pride in making a great coffee, arrive ready for your scheduled shift and help your teammates keep the café running smoothly. You’re comfortable serving customers during busy periods and staying productive during quieter hours.
Previous barista experience and a valid Food Handler Certificate are required.
Shift availability
Applicants must be available to work shifts within our 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. operating window, including afternoons, evenings and overnights. These are individual scheduled shifts—not one continuous shift. Please specify which days and times you can consistently work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee,
espresso drinks and other beverages to our standards.
- Full and complete preparation of food and baked items
- Take orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized café and follow food safety procedures.
- Help with restocking and daily café duties.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to hospital staff, patients and visitors.
