Job Title: Grinder

Location: Calgary, AB

Schedule: Full-Time

Our client is seeking a hardworking and safety-focused Grinder to join a manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for grinding, deburring, finishing, and preparing metal components using air grinders, angle grinders, power tools, and metal finishing equipment in a production environment.

What's the Job?

- Operate angle grinders, air grinders, die grinders, and other power tools safely and efficiently.
- Grind, smooth, deburr, and finish metal components according to specifications.
- Remove excess material, weld splatter, and imperfections from fabricated parts.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment.
- Handle and move materials throughout the production area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support other manufacturing and production activities as needed.

What's Needed?

- Previous experience as a Grinder,



Metal Finisher, Production Worker, General Labourer, or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Experience using air grinders, angle grinders, die grinders, and other hand and power tools.
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic quality inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing setting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
