We are seeking a highly motivated Afternoon Operations Manager to join our leading Less Than Truckload (LTL) Transportation Company in Alberta. This key role will oversee daily operational activities, ensure efficient freight movement, and drive service excellence throughout our network.

Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize LTL operations, including scheduling, routing, and freight handling.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop operational staff to achieve performance targets and enhance team collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements for cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams to resolve operational issues swiftly.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation or logistics management, preferably in LTL operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s transportation regulations and geography. Strong understanding of Edmonton and surrounding area a must.
- Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft 365.
