Day&Ross; Broker looking for a straight truck driver for LTL deliveries . Class 5 license only! Candidate must have a clean criminal background, clean drivers abstract and at least 1 year experience with a reference driving a 5 ton or larger truck. Candidate will have to do drug test upon hiring.

As a Straight Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a commercial vehicle. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skill in commercial driving will be essential for navigating various routes while adhering to safety regulations. Your premium skills in freight handling will enhance your ability to load and unload cargo effectively. Additionally, relevant skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will support your role in maintaining the truck's performance. Have some experience in driving Manual Transmission Truck.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a straight truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road.
