Reimagine Work, on behalf of a private family office, is looking for a dependable and resourceful Personal Assistant to provide day-to-day personal support for its founders, and basic operations/admin support to office executives. This position requires a high degree of reliability, discretion, and adaptability. The successful candidate will be a natural at managing dynamic and varied requests while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
About the Client
Our client is a private family office based in Victoria, with a portfolio that spans a variety of properties and business types. The family office values trust, reliability, and long-term collaboration, and is looking for someone to join their team in a support role, providing operational and administrative support for the family office, as well as personal task management for two of the founders.
This role offers a rare opportunity to become a trusted member of the family office team, providing practical support across a wide variety of tasks, with the potential for the role to evolve and grow within the family office over time.
A Day in the Life
This is not a traditional desk-based assistant role. The Personal Assistant has a home base at the family office in Central Saanich, near Keating; however, the position is active and varied, with most of the day spent on the road completing errands, pickups and drop-offs, and tasks at the client's properties across the Greater Victoria area. Requests for this role will arrive throughout the day, and the Personal Assistant will independently plan, prioritize, and complete them using a company-provided vehicle. During quieter periods, the Personal Assistant will advance a running list of projects from the office or remain nearby and available as needs arise.
This is a full time position. The Personal Assistant will be on call between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, and will work no more than eight hours in a day or 37.5 hours in a week. Because requests come in as needed, the role offers considerable downtime and flexibility throughout the on-call window.
