Robert Half is seeking an Intermediate Accountant on behalf of our client, a reputable organization looking to add a detail-oriented accounting qualified to its finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong general accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities
Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate variances
Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes as needed
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency

Previous experience as an Intermediate Accountant
Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
