The Roles
We’re growing and hiring two people to join our crew:
1. Experienced Residential Carpenter
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable carpenter with 5 to 10 years of experience. We handle everything from demolition and framing to final finishing, so you’ll need to be versatile, know your way around a residential job site, and be confident at any stage of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all phases of rough and finish carpentry on new builds and renovations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Work alongside other trades and subcontractors from start to final walkthrough
- Help guide and direct labourers on site
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of residential carpentry experience
- Solid understanding of residential construction and building codes
- Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools
- Own basic hand tools
2. General Construction Labourer
We’re looking for a hardworking,
dependable labourer with residential construction experience to support our carpenters and crew. You should be comfortable on a job site and able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters and trades with framing, demolition, and finishing work
- Load, unload, and move materials and tools around the site
- Keep work areas clean, secure, and organized
- Operate power and hand tools safely
Requirements:
- At least 1–2 years of construction or labour experience, ideally residential
- Familiar with common power tools, hand tools, and job site safety practices
- Able to take direction and work as part of a team
- Own basic hand tools
Requirements for Both Positions
- Valid BC driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle to get to and from job sites around Victoria and surrounding areas
- Able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
- Punctual, reliable, and able to problem-solve on the fly
- Commitment to job site safety
