Production & Material Handling Operator – Food Manufacturing

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Production & Material Handling Operator to join our food manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position involving daily production, material handling, warehouse organization, cleaning, sanitation, and general manufacturing duties.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Assist with daily production and manufacturing activities.
- Assist with moving, handling, and organizing materials and pallets throughout the facility.
- Operate a Raymond forklift when properly trained and authorized.
- Follow Quality Assurance (QA), food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized production and warehouse areas.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment, including the use of pressure washers.
- Maintain accurate production and sanitation records.
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, and remain physically active for extended periods.




- Perform repetitive tasks and adapt to changing daily production priorities.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Forklift Operator Certification is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Previous food handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting up to 25 kg (50 lbs), and standing for extended periods, with reasonable accommodation where required.
- Solid communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Commitment to proper hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety practices.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
