Content Creator: Events, Photo & Video (Part-Time)

We're a small, hands-on boutique marketing agency helping small to medium local businesses look as good online as they are in real life. We handle their social, content, photography and websites. We're growing, and we're looking for another creative to grow with us.
The role
You'll head out to client events, venues and shoots, capture great photos and short-form video, edit everything yourself, and hand over polished, ready-to-post deliverables. Basically, we need someone who can be us when we can't be in two places at once. Most events happen on evenings and weekends.
What you'll do
- Shoot photos and video at client events, launches and behind-the-scenes moments
- Capture short-form Reels content: vertical, punchy and on-trend
- Edit photos and video to our style and deliver on time
- Read the room and know which shot the client will love before they ask
- Represent Good Neighbour professionally and warmly on-site
What you bring
- Proven experience in event,
social or content photography and videography (portfolio required)
- A strong eye for composition, lighting and storytelling
- Your own good-quality camera and/or recent flagship phone, plus editing tools (Lightroom, CapCut, etc.)
- A solid grasp of social trends and what performs
- Reliability, self-direction and comfort working independently
- Reliable transportation and availability on evenings and weekends
The details
- Pay: $20+/hour, depending on experience
- Hours: 5–20 per week to start, growing as we take on more clients
- Flexible scheduling, and you edit remotely on your own time
- Startup energy: you'll have real input, plenty of variety, and a front-row seat as we build something exciting
