Duties
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials to support curriculum goals
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators about progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
- Support students in building study skills, time management, and academic confidence
Skills
- Must be able to teach Math & English from K to Grade 12 – including Calculus
- Must be able to teach Grade 11 & 12 Chemistry & Physics
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across relevant subjects
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate learners
- Ability to work effectively with children and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Classroom experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for education is essential
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons and track student progress
