Job description:

Total Care Transport is expanding its non-emergency medical transfer services in the Simcoe region, and we’re looking for dedicated, hard-working people to join our team as Drivers and Attendants. You’ll help clients get safely and comfortably to medical appointments, treatments and care facilities. The work is rewarding, builds meaningful healthcare experience, and offers flexible scheduling. Schedule

Coverage runs roughly 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Shifts are approximately 11-12 hours daily, on a two week schedule including weekdays and weekends. Flexible scheduling options are available.

Compensation

- Attendants: starting at $18.60/hour
- Drivers: starting at $19.10/hour
- Annual wage increases provided

What We’re Looking For:

- CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check, which you may provide with your application or obtain once selected
- Strong customer service skills and a caring, professional manner
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including assisting with patient transfers, being able to lift 250 lbs with a partner.
- Life experience, healthcare exposure, or relevant education is considered an asset




- Preference for local candidates
- Assist clients on and off the vehicle, including with mobility aids and wheelchairs

Additional Requirements for Drivers:

- Age 25+ preferred for insurance purposes
- Valid driver’s licence; prior driving experience is an asset
- Valid Ontario Class G licence (minimum) with a clean, current driver’s abstract
