We are seeking a dependable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight across regional or national destinations, ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking for mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation in compliance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules,



and any issues encountered during transit
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for loading/unloading freight when required

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and long-haul driving preferred
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards in trucking operations
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently over extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients

Pay: $23.67-$35.26 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
